proof

It's funny because when I graduated college, I thought I would have to grow up and start becoming...responsible. And, while this is the case most days, I never knew my friends and I could still act like teenagers. The lovely snowstorm of 2011 was a great example that as adults, we are given the chance to be teenagers and live carelessly. Every once in awhile that is.

On Friday afternoon, a good friend of ours sent this awesome email to all of our KC friends:

Subject: FACTS

-There will be a snow sculpture/fort/cave built at my place this weekend.
-It will be awesome.
-You are welcome to join in if you would like to contribute to its majesty.

Saturday: 1 PM. Bring your shovels, wheelbarrows, and creativity.

Don't show up if you hate fun.

This is the many reasons why I love my friends!

I decided to opt out of what sounded like an awesome time due to a lovely (sense the sarcasm) head cold I had all of last week and this weekend. As for Bryan, I have never seen him so excited. This was right up his alley, and as I watched him throw his snowboarding gear on to go play in the snow, I could not help but smile. Since I couldn't partake in this fun, I asked Bryan to do me one favor and take some photos of the end creation. When he walked through our front door with a smile as big as mine when I get gluten-free cupcakes, he tossed me the camera. Internet, I could not help but share...because in all reality, this is just AWESOME!

And this is proof that as adults, we get to have just as much fun as teenagers...if not more!

Have an awesome Superbowl Sunday!
