Shefali Lindsey Photography Blog: kids: baby blake (2 months)

I sat with her after a refreshing run on their driveway stretching and talking. Like the old days in Chi Omega. Except in the old days, we would not be exercising but instead eating Dove chocolate pieces and chips and salsa. It's how we rolled. But, as I listened to her talk about being a mum, about learning how to become a great counselor and the little joys she gets from the life she is living today, I could not help but feel pure happiness and serenity. And, she deserves every second of it.

You might remember them when they were on this blog as a family of two. And three quarters. Well, they have become a family of three since December when Blake graced them with his presence. And, to say that motherhood truly fits Kari is an understatement. Her other half, Andy, loves his little guy more than anything. Together, Bryan and I witnessed just how natural these two are at being parents. And being in love with one another while being parents.

There was no way I could have gone to Little Rock without taking a few snapshots of one of my favorite little guys!

I wish I could begin to tell you how cost-efficient this nursery was due to Andy and Kari's craft projects and bargain deals! Blake's nursery...
