It is funny how God blesses with you friends in the most surprising of ways. Stephanie is one of those surprises. We met in 2010 when I was interviewing for the company I work at right now. It took all but two minutes for the both of us to know we were going to be good friends. Somewhere in the midst of talking about Harry Potter, our love for Burberry and California, it was an instant click. We would chat and chat about everything and anything at work. Then came the day in which Stephanie told me she was moving on to a new job opportunity. And, it was at her going away party that I had the sincere pleasure of meeting her husband, Jeremy, who was one of the sweetest guys I have ever met. Something about them made a piece of my heart melt.



A month ago, I met my dear friend, Steph, for lunch. And, over lunch, she told me some fabulous news. News in which Jeremy and her were ADOPTING A BABY. As in giving an unwanted baby a home to be loved in, laughed in and have a lifetime of memories made in. Quite honestly, I could not think of two better people to go through such an amazing adventure together. She expressed her concerns and worries to me, but in the end, she had this smile that for the life of her could not be wiped off her face. And, I knew this journey was not only going to teach them more about each other, but it would teach them to have faith and trust in the good man upstairs.

With that said, Jeremy and Stephanie are holding a fundraiser event and selling t-shirts to raise money for their adoption fund, so they can bring home a beautiful baby from Arkansas! If you get a moment, and would like to help this amazing couple, feel free to hop on over here.
