Friends, let me say how wonderful it has been visiting and reconnecting with old friends through this oh so wonderful passion of mine. So much has changed in the past 10 years (ohdearthismakesmefeelold) in my hometown, and it has all been for the better. Many of my friends from high school have followed their dreams, married their better half and started families of their own. Seeing Laura again on Saturday morning was an absolute treat. Let me start off by saying she is just as fun as I remember her and insanely GORGEOUS. If you do not believe me, please look below for proof. Gorgeous. With a capital G. But, then she went off and married herself a very handsome stud, Jason, who makes both his ladies laugh outloud. Together these two made a perfect little lady, Ava, who is quite the perfect mix of both of them. She is such a free spirit who has a love for all things pink and all things sweet. My kind of gal! Most of all, she has the perfect mix of personality of both Jason and Laura. The best part...their family of three is growing by one little guy next year. I can only imagine what a handsome stud their baby boy is going to turn out. As for now, they sure do make one beautiful family of three and a half!

Dear Leia Marie,

You have no idea how loved you are. I think your mommy and daddy have fallen deeper and deeper in love with you since they knew. Knew that they would go from two to three. A family. People keep buzzing about your mommy's glow, and she just smiles everytime they whisper your name. Leia Marie. Your grandmamas are can't-sit-still-in-their-seat excited to meet you and love all of you. You have aunts and great-aunts who are ready to spoil you silly. So be prepared to wear cute outfits and be gooed and gahhed at in baby talk. You have two uncles who are excited for another little girl to bless this family. And, Uncle B, well I think you are going to love him. He is very silly, he will make you laugh in an instant and he is going to love you like his own.

As for me, well, I get all choked up thinking that I get to meet you in one month. I love you so much already. Sometimes, I catch myself trying to picture who you will look like. Mommy? Or daddy? Most of the time, I am convinced you will not look like one or the other, but a perfect mixture of both. And, I think you are going to be the sweetest. Kind, intelligent and gentle. Get ready, Leia Marie, to be a part of a fun and ever so loving family. Because really you have no idea how loved you already are.

There is just something about them. Something that is hard to put into words. But, if I had to describe it, I would start by saying it showed in their eyes and the sparkles they created. It showed when I said his name. Jackson. It showed when we talked nursery colors. And, it shows when he would hold her hand and help her in anyway he could. It showed when she put her hands on her belly and smiled. And as each instance took place, there was something about them. Something like a...glow. The glow of almost being parents.

I could not imagine two people more ready and perfect to become parents than Jordan and Annie. I can just see it now. Jackson is going to have his dad's carefree, music loving spirit, and he is going to have his mama's kind and sweet loving spirit. In other words, a perfect mix of the two!

I just cannot wait to meet this little guy and spoil him to pieces!!! And, Baby J's mum promised me extra cuddling time! Get here already, Baby J! We are so excited to meet you. And smooch all over you. Uncle B and Aunt Shef.

In the first moment you meet them, you would love them. You would love the way they make one another laugh. You would love the way he looks at her constantly. The kind of look that screams, I adore you. In every way possible. You would love the way she giggles at everything he says or does. You would love that they have the spirit of two 13 year olds who are just so very much in love. You would love the way she glows beauty. The kind of beauty that screams, I am so blessed. In every way possible. You would love how they make everyone around them feel so loved and blessed to be in their presence.

He is going to be a daddy. And, she is going to be a mama. Together, they are so in love with their little man whom they are about to meet in less than two months!!!
