maternity: andy+kari+?

I just do not know how else to put it other than I love them. I spent quite some time trying to figure out how else to open up this blog post, and each time I would write, I would erase my words. It was never good enough. This just seems to fit. Perfectly. I just love them.

As in they are two of our best friends. As in I waited next to her on those nights when Andy would come pick her up for a date. As in I stood next to Kari at their wedding and watched her vow to Andy to always love him, support him and to be there for him. For better or worse. For richer or poorer. As in I called her a million times to cry to her...and him when I was going through some tough times. As in we made our way down south to see them when we just missed them too much and talking on the phone did not suffice anymore. As in we prayed for them when they had some hurt enter their lives. As in I cried when she told me she was pregnant. As in I almost started to cry again when I saw her and her baby belly. In person. Did I mention I cry easily? I just love them.

When Andy, Kari and their not so little dog, Buckwheat, came up for a visit to KC, Kari asked me to do a few maternity pictures. To say I was ecstatic is an understatement. I had been wanting to do maternity pictures for awhile because in my opinion, there is nothing more sweeter and more special than when two people in love are having their first little one. And, there is nothing more special or honorable than when I get to capture those moments. Those sweet, sweet moments.

Andy and Kar, Bryan and I just love you both! But, you both already knew that. I just hope you love the sneak peaks as much!

Their dog, Buckwheat, reminds me of Marley. Well, a REALLY well-behaved Marley. He is so stinking cute!
