family: cory+lisa+campbell+caylin

They were the first family that trusted me. Trusted me to photograph their newborn girl. Not having any kind of experience, they gave me their trust. They could have gone somewhere else. They could have chosen someone else. But, they chose me. To me, this speaks a lot on their behalf. It speaks to their kindness, their love and their closeness. And, these are the exact three words I would choose to describe this family. Kindness. Love. Closeness.

A year later, a lot has changed. At least to me. Yet, a lot has remained the same. Cory still holds that same proud dad smile. That smile that says I have the love of one very special woman and two beautiful little girls. Lisa still has that fun-I-can-go-with-flow-and-laugh-it-off spirit. The kind of spirit that makes me feel right at home, hanging out with one of my gals and drinking wine! However, I take one look at Campbell and think, what happened in the past year? How did you grow up so fast? Your hair is so long. You are taller. Your voice is just the sweetest. And, there is baby Caylin who is not so much a baby but transforming into a big girl. She could barely open her eyes when I saw her last, and now she is walking, laughing and runs the show in their family! Like I said, it feels like a lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same.

Cory and Lisa, I adore your family. To pieces. And, I would like for you to ask the Father Time to slow things down so these two stop growing up so fast! They are turning into some beautiful little girls! Enjoy some sneak peaks...
