They remind me of country songs. The kind of songs in which lyrics are written to make you realize to slow down in life. Way down. And to never stop having fun. Or loving for that matter. After all, isn't that what life is all about? Treating each breath and moment as it were your last. Their smiles are genuine. Their bond is close. And being able to witness their love for one another is why I am a photographer.

Tyler and Janae are two of the calmest people I know. And some of the kindest people I know as well. Tyler happens to be one of the few husbands who has written me to thank me when I photographed their little man, Logan last year. To this day, I have kept that email because it meant so much to me to hear the sincere appreciation from a husband's point of view. This is reason 1209898797 why I think Tyler is just an amazing father to Logan and one heck of a husband to Janae! As for Janae, she is someone I look up to. She is all smiles, she is incredibly sweet and she takes on the challenges of being an occupational therapist, a wife and a mother all with a smile. As for Logan, he was the newborn I placed in a bookshelf a year ago, and now is a walking-talking-handsome little boy. Again, a part of my heart wants to cry somedays because it felt like yesterday he was a newborn I was "ohhhing" and "ahhing" over. The one who could barely open his eyes and who had me wrapped around his tiny, little fingers.
