A small moment is taking a drive down the highway with the windows open. A small moment is going to your favorite town and discovering a farm. A small moment is soaking up the country air. A small moment is drinking a fresh apple slushy. Together with two straws. A small moment is going into antique shops and dreaming of owning old vintage pieces one day. A small moment is making silly faces against the brick wall. Just because. A small moment is walking down abandoned streets while holding hands. And stealing kisses from one another. A small moment is having a picnic and playing checkers. Why not? A small moment is sharing a candlelit dinner, drinking local wine, laughing and whispering your dreams for the next five years. A small moment is sitting in an Irish pub listening to Irish music. A small moment is meeting a couple who has been married for over fifty years. And listening to them talk about the Depression and World War II. A small moment is sitting by the fireplace, wrapped in each other's arm and sitting still.
All of these small moments make up that one big moment. That moment in which you realize that you have to live in the moment. You cannot dwell about the past. You cannot focus about the future. All you can do is live in the moment. And, this is something I learned during our weekend getaway to Weston. I learned in order to be happy, you have to live in the present. It is so easy to want to change the past. Or to control the future that you forget to live in the present. A little piece of advice. Live in the moment today. It is SO worth it.
As always, no post is good without pictures, so here are some of Bryan and I soaking in the small moments during our trip to Weston!
This is quite possibly the cutest sign!
One of my favorite pictures of us!
Our "Wales" room at the bed and breakfast we stayed at.
To help us never forget...
Something fun that I definitely want to try at a session!
Just some detail shots of beautiful Weston.

I love your pictures of our adventures. Btw, I think we should buy the B & B and move to Weston.
