family: mike+renee+alex+brady

It took all but one second for Alex to warm up to Bryan and I. As in he took one look at the both of us and decided to be our best friend. He started by asking us questions to leading me to the places that would work best for pictures to telling me his life story. And that is one of the MANY reasons why I love the Mercer family!

You see last year, I photographed this particular family and Mike's brother's family as well. It was fun except for one thing. The freezing temperatures that made all nine of us hate being outside. Well, Mother Nature must have seen the pain they had to go through and blessed us with some AH-MAZING fall weather. As in the temperature was in the 70s but we got to enjoy the fall colors in the park!

I had a blast answering Alex's questions and listening to him tell me his funny stories. He is quite the creative cat! And, I think my heart melted each time Brady would say chocolate milk. Seriously, it would make me laugh and melt at the same time. Not even sure if that is possible. As for Mike and Renee, I think they are a stunning pair! That is how I would describe them-stunning!

Mike and Renee, I hope you enjoy some of my favorites below! And, I will speak for all of us when I say that I am SO glad we had some gorgeous weather. It was so wonderful catching up and seeing the four of you!

Oh these boys are cute. To the EXTREME!

Here is to hoping the snow doesn't find Kansas City tonight or tomorrow like they are saying on the news! Happy Thursday!
