Sometimes all you need to do is take a step back. A step back so you can see everything. The happiness in their eyes, the love in the words they speak and the fun spirit within them in their laugh that overtakes every muscle in their body. I did just this. I stepped back while they were playing in the pile of leaves only to see all of the above happen right in front of me. It was almost as if I were watching a really happy movie. Through my lens. And during those moments, I was able to see what happiness was. Simple, joyful happiness that is.

This family is just oh my gorgeous beautiful! They speak quietly, they laugh loudly and they know how to have fun. These are just a few of the reasons why I fell instantly in love with them. All three of them that is. Matt reminds me of some very good friends of Bryan and I's in Kansas City. Just fun and go-with-the-flow. Must be why Bryan and I felt instantly at home with Elisa and him. He is also a wonderful dad and husband! Elisa is insanely beautiful. And intelligent. Just insanely. As for Grant, he has a smile that can make anyone eating out of the palm of his hands. No, seriously. And, I should mention, he is fearless and all about the fun! The more fun, the better. So our session was filled with a LOT of fun! And, running around.

Matt and Elisa, thank you so much for giving Bryan and I the pleasure of spending Saturday morning, bright and early with the three of you! You guys have one of the cutest families, and thank you for all the newlywed advice you gave me! I am sure it will come in handy over the years! Enjoy the sneak peaks!
