family: roberto+stacy+gabriel

They are what I call old friends. Except we have known them for about five months. Yet, they feel like old friends. I had photographed them back in August. Remember August? When it was warm, hot and sunny, and I was in dresses and flip flops. Anyways, getting off subject. What was I talking about? Old friends. They are the kind of people you just cannot forget. One, they helped us through a tough time. And for that, we are eternally grateful. Two, I think about them often. It's kind of hard to forget a couple like Stacy and Roberto! Not to mention, their insanely adorable son, Gabriel. Who I wanted to carry all the time, kiss those cute cheeks and take home with us! Not even kidding.

On a side note, Gabriel is a trooper of a baby. Not only was he running a fever the night before, but he still was not feeling his best when he got to the session. However, I would never have known any of this if Roberto and Stacy had not told me so. Because, as soon as I saw that cute face of his, he was all smiles. And, when you see a baby that has had a rough 24 hours smile really big like his smiles were, you cannot help but fall in love with him. Although, at the very end when he was in his Halloween costume, he started to feel a bit sick...or so he made it seem like he was sick. Stacy emailed me later on to tell me right when they got home, he was all smiles and playing with his toys. I think it was his plot to get away from my camera. This not only made me smile but made me realize we underestimate babies sometimes.

Roberto and Stacy, it was absolutely wonderful seeing all three of you again! I hope Gabriel is feeling 110% better now. And, to say that I am jealous you all are spending the holidays in Brazil is an understatement. I hope you have a fabulous visit home. You know what I am going to say next. I want to see some pictures when you all come back!
