dancing to 60 years...

How does time fly by so fast? Seriously. How has it almost been 11 months? Eleven! And, how does everything change…for the better sometimes? At this time last year, everything was different. Everything. We had different dreams, and we were different people. And, in the last year, we have evolved into a much stronger couple, we are working towards big dreams that we thought were impossible and we are happier than I ever imagined last year at this time. However, at no point in time one year ago would I have imagined that we would be photographing weddings. Together. The thought never even crossed my mind. Not even once. But, life has a way of surprising you constantly.

And, that Saturday as we watched/photographed a very handsome groom and a beautiful bride who were so in love, I thought to myself how I could not have asked for a more perfect first wedding! However, I would not have had such success photographing our first wedding without that sweet hubby of mine. Because in all honesty, he was more than a second shooter and the guy with a creative eye; he was pep talks, hold hands to calm nerves, ideas for ways to shoot better and most of all, my partner-in-crime! And during one of many favorite moments that day while we watched Cate’s grandmother dance to 60 years of being married, I leaned over to whisper to B, I hope that is us dancing to 60 years of being happily married. 60 years of being a strong couple, achieving big dreams that are impossible and being happier than we ever imagined.
