From time to time, I get asked why I love being a photographer. The number one reason: being able to bring some creativity through a brilliant machine (i.e. the camera) and capturing memories for some VERY beautiful people. The other perk behind being a photographer is meeting new friends (yes, ALL of my photography clients have turned into some wonderful friends and make KC a wonderful home away from home!) and seeing old friends. More specifically, my friends from high school. There is no greater compliment than when I get emails and messages from friends in high school asking me to step into their sweet family circles and capture some memories with that brilliant machine I speak of. This family is a great example.
Jayme is one of my oldest and dearest friends. I have known her for over 15 years (has it really been that long?!). As the years have gone on, it is so wonderful to see how her life has transformed into the happiness and love she shares for her husband, Brian and her two little people, Connor and Audrey (who are absolutely precious!). It truly fills my heart with an indescribable amount of joy. And, it is one of the many reasons why I love love love being a photographer!
