family: dan+jessaca+jackson+brooklyn

It is their closeness. Their bond. Their love. The way they laugh together. The way they look at each other with deep appreciation. The way they hold hands. The way they kiss. The way they are a family. A sister and daughter. A brother and son. A wife and mother. A husband and father.

It is Jackson's eyes that makes Jessaca's face light up. It is Brooklyn's smile that makes the deepest part of Dan's heart sing. It is Jessaca's patience that makes Dan appreciate and love his wife more. It is Dan's love for their two amazing kids that makes Jessaca feel nothing but sincere gratitude for the man she fell in love with and married. It is Dan and Jessaca's love for one another that affects Jackson and Brooklyn. In a good way. A really good way.

These are all things that neither of them said to me. I just saw it with my own two eyes. And, that is why I love what I do. Because I get to experience first hand the love that families like this one share. And, capture it through the extension of my eye and my soul: my camera. It is not through their words. It is through their actions. After all, actions speak louder than words.

Dan and Jess, either all of you are a ridiculously good looking family or God smiled down on us during the session or both, but these photographs came out well beyond my own expectations. Love all of you and hope you enjoy some of my favorites!

One of my faves!



These two are incredibly well-behaved! I asked what is their secret in raising them. Dan told me it was because of Jess. Um, moment to let my heart melt and mold back together.



Bryan and Jackson decided to make some kind of acorn soup, and I think Jackson was having the time of his life playing with sticks and dirt. What two year old boy would not?!



Brace yourselves for a ridiculous amount of cuteness. For real. For all the mums out there wondering where Jessaca got the ADORABLE skirt and headband, look no further. Jessaca actually owns a business called Fancy Pants, and she is the creator and maker of these adorable little clothing pieces. So, if you are interested, contact her. I already told her she is going to get one hefty order when Bryan and I have a little baby girl of our own...one day.
